Often Easy

Often Easy started at a pool party at a Nobel laureate's house. Emily Rogers and Davis Perez met Spencer Hitchcock there in 2019. They remember him because he was the only one in a speedo.

We make ragged and funky indie rock with cathartic vocals, throbbing basslines, soaring saxophone and palpable textures threaded throughout songs hand-crafted for sweaty house parties, late-night drives, and crying in stairwells with incredible reverb.

Our sound blends emotional songwriting with playful and high-energy live performances. Our shows are immersive and communal, equal parts dance party and emotional release. Bring all you've got, and leave it on the dance floor.

Every one of these songs means something immense. While you listen, know that every lyric is hand selected and intentional. Songwriting is therapy. Releasing music can feel like publishing journals for people to pick through.
